Salento IGT Primitivo Artas 2020 Castello Monaci

The Salento Primitivo Artas of Castello Monaci was born in vineyards located in the municipality of Salice Salentino, in the province of Lecce.

It is produced exclusively with Primitivo grapes, harvested and selected entirely by hand. Fermentation takes place in stainless steel tanks at controlled temperature. Subsequently the wine ages in barrique for 6 months and for another 6 months in bottle, before being put on the market.

It is characterized by a bright ruby red color. The nose opens with an intense and harmonious bouquet of berries, enriched with pleasant balsamic notes of roasted coffee. On the palate it is full, pleasantly warm and soft. The wine has an enveloping body, with sweet and elegant tannins.

Perfect to accompany dishes with meat sauce and red meats, it is ideal in combination with game and roasts.
