Description

Salice Salentino Limitone dei Greci by Paolo Leo was born in vineyards located in the provinces of Brindisi and Lecce, south of Puglia.

It is mainly produced with Negroamaro and Malvasia Nera grapes, harvested exclusively by hand in the early hours of dawn. Fermentation takes place, with maceration in contact with the skins, in stainless steel tanks at a controlled temperature of 25 ° C. Subsequently the wine ages for 18 months in steel and for a further 6 months in bottle before being marketed.

It has a ruby red color with garnet reflections. The nose opens with elegant hints of red fruits, enriched with delicate floral notes. On the palate it is full and balanced, rightly tannic.

Perfect to accompany game and roasts, this wine is ideal in combination with aged cheeses.
