Description
The Nero d'Avola Sicily La Zisa di Rallo originates from the vineyards located in the Patti Piccolo district, in Alcamo, in the province of Trapani.
It is obtained entirely from Nero d'Avola grapes, manually harvested in boxes at the end of September. After a soft pressing of the bunches, the must ferments in oak vats at a controlled temperature of 15-16 ° C for 14 days. The maturation then takes place for at least 30 days in steel and wood for another 6-8 months before bottling.
Ruby red in color, it offers the nose an intriguing scent of morello cherry and red fruits. In the mouth it is soft and intense, with a beautiful persistence.
Excellent to combine with well-structured first courses, it is perfect in the company of roasts or goulash.
