Description
Sicily Il Manto di Rallo was born in vineyards, organically run, located in the municipality of Alcamo, in the province of Trapani.
It is produced with 100% Nero d'Avola grapes, carefully picked and selected by hand in late September. After a soft pressing, the fermentation takes place, with maceration, in stainless steel tanks at a controlled temperature of 15-16 ° C, for 8 days. Subsequently the wine ages for 6 months in steel and for another month in bottle before being released on the market.
The Manto di Rallo has an intense ruby red color. The nose opens with intense aromas of ripe red fruits, enriched with hints of vanilla. On the palate it is balanced, soft and persistent.
Excellent to combine with second courses of meat, grilled roasts and aged cheeses, it is recommended to accompany traditional Sicilian dishes.
