Description

The Lagrein of the Gries line of the Cantina di Bolzano is the result of the vinification of only Lagrein grapes, whose harvest takes place between the second half of September and the first half of October. After the classic red winemaking processes, the wine ages partially in large oak barrels and the remainder in steel.

Dark garnet red wine with purplish fingernail, it opens to the nose with intense sensations of violet and spices, enriched with notes of wet earth, berries and coconut. In the mouth it is satisfying and soft, supported by a remarkable fullness of taste.

Excellent to accompany rich and tasty dishes, it gives its best in combination with aged cheeses and game.
