Description

The Alto Adige Chardonnay of the Selection line of the Elena Walch winery was born in the vineyards located in the municipality of Termeno on the Strada del Vino, in the province of Bolzano.

After the harvest, which took place at the beginning of September, the grapes were softly pressed. The clarification of the must follows, which is subsequently fermented in steel tanks at a controlled temperature of 20 ° C. The wine then ages for a few months on its own yeasts in stainless steel containers.

In the glass, the wine has a brilliant golden yellow color. On the nose there are hints of flowers, tropical fruit such as pineapple and ripe yellow apple. In the mouth the wine is warm and dry, with good persistence.

Excellent as an aperitif, this wine can also accompany first courses seasoned with fish and vegetable sauces, or with baked white meats flavored with Mediterranean herbs.
