Tequila Reposado Tapatío Tapatio
Description
Tequila Reposado Tapatío is produced by the Camarena Hermanos SA distillery in the state of Jalisco, Mexico. It is obtained exclusively from agave according to an ancient artisan process handed down from generation to generation. After cooking in a traditional oven of clay bricks and grinding in the characteristic "tahonas" in stone, fermentation takes place in wooden vats, followed by distillation in discontinuous copper stills and aging of 4-6 months in American oak barrels ex -bourbon.
Of a pale straw yellow color with golden reflections, the Tequila Reposado Tapatío opens to the nose with intense aromas of cooked agave, white fruit, caramel and vanilla, which give way to light hints of cloves and sandalwood. In the mouth it is sweet, soft and velvety, with notes of caramel, coconut and dried fruit, with a pleasantly spicy finish.
Excellent for mixing, it is ideal to serve with ice.
