Terre Siciliane IGT Chardonnay Grand Cru 2014 Tenuta Rapitalà

The Sicily Chardonnay Gran Cru of Tenuta Rapitalà is the synthesis of the company's philosophy and, with its strong personality, best expresses the territory.

It is produced exclusively with Chardonnay grapes, harvested and selected entirely by hand. After a soft pressing and a static decanting of the must, the grapes ferment in stainless steel tanks at controlled temperature. Subsequently the wine ages in barriques for 12 months and for another 3 months in bottle before being released on the market.

This Chardonnay Gran Cru is characterized by a light gold color. The nose opens with a large fruity bouquet, enriched with pleasant aromatic hints. It is soft on the palate, with delicate references to Mediterranean aromas. The wine has a wide and elegant structure, with a long and persistent finish.

Perfect to accompany white meats and aged cheeses, it is ideal in combination with fish and shellfish dishes.
