Müller Thurgau and Zibibbo are jsut like Walter Matthau and Jack Lemmon. An "odd couple", which if it were not a cuvée could be a movie. Oscar-worthy.

Description

Second label of the “Lu meli” line, this unusual and successful blend of Müller-Thurgau and Zibibbo already evokes from the name the intense taste of an enveloping and sweet wine, with pleasant honey aromas.

The bunches of the two varieties, grown in the Trapani countryside, are harvested between the months of August and September. The grapes, arrived in the cellar, are subjected to the process of de-stemming and soft pressing, followed by fermentation at a controlled temperature of 14-16 °. The wine then rests in steel vats until bottling and completes its maturation in the bottle.

In the glass it shines with an intense straw yellow with golden reflections. The nose is a riot of aromas: it opens with sweet and floral notes of orange blossom, jasmine, acacia flowers and honey, accompanied by citrus scents. On the palate the entrance is soft and enveloping, with a fresh, savory and persistent finish.

Excellent as an aperitif, it also goes very well with appetizers, shellfish and seafood dishes.
