Toscana IGT Cabernet Sauvignon 2016 Poggio al Tufo

The Toscana Cabernet Sauvignon of Poggio al Tufo is located in the Rompicollo vineyard, entirely grown on volcanic soil, located in the municipality of Pitigliano, in the province of Grosseto.

It is made from only Cabernet Sauvignon grapes, harvested and selected exclusively by hand. Fermentation takes place traditionally in steel at controlled temperature. Subsequently the wine ages for 12 months in Slavonian oak barrels, before being bottled.

This Cabernet Sauvignon from Poggio al Tufo has an intense ruby red color. The nose opens with intense hints of spices and licorice. On the palate it is a full-bodied wine, full and soft, pleasantly velvety.

Perfect to accompany first courses with meat sauce, it is ideal in combination with fresh cheeses and white meats.
