Description

The sweet white Conforta wine was born in the splendid vineyards and cellars of Arezzo of Fattoria Santa Vittoria, in Foiano della Chiana. It represents a perfect example of wine made from botrytised grapes.

It is made from Sémillon, Gewurtztraminer and Incrocio Manzoni 6.0.13 (Riesling Renano and Pinot BIanco) grapes, left to dry and boiled directly in the vineyard. Thereafter, the selected bunches are collected several times depending on the development of the botritys. After stopping the fermentation phase, to leave a high sugar residue, the wine is placed in an environment at 3 ° C, where it ages in contact with the yeasts for six months.

The Conforta si Fattoria Santa Vittoria has a light golden yellow color, with intense varietal hints, notes of honey and aromas of sweet spices, citrus fruits and a hint of acacia in the finish. The taste is enveloping and fresh, sweet and mineral, with a good persistence.

Excellent for a moment of meditation, it goes very well with dry biscuits. The combination with fresh cheeses or pates is also very interesting.
