Toscana IGT Guidaccio 2008 Marchesi Torrigiani
Description
The Toscana Rosso Guidaccio was born in the vineyards of the Marchesi Torrigiani farm on the slopes south of the Val d'Elsa, in Tuscany.
It is produced with Sangiovese, Merlot and Cabernet Sauvignon grapes, harvested only by hand. The vinification takes place in cement tanks and, subsequently, the wine is left to rise in French oak barriques for at least 16 months.
It presents itself to the eye with a concentrated ruby red color. The nose offers a decisive and immediate pepose perfume, with hints of black fruit and vanilla notes. On the palate it shows elegance, given by an excellent balance between tannins and softness. At the end of the mouth it is persistent and pleasant.
Perfect with elaborate first courses, it goes very well with red meats and game.
