Description
The Tuscany Lucilla di Fèlsina was born in vineyards located in the municipality of Sinalunga, in Farnetella, in the province of Siena.
It is mainly produced with Sangiovese and Cabernet Sauvignon and Merlot grapes, harvested and selected exclusively by hand. Fermentation takes place in stainless steel tanks at controlled temperature. Subsequently the wine ages for 8-12 months in oak barrels and for another 6 months in bottle, before being released on the market.
Lucilla di Fèlsina is characterized by an intense ruby red color. The nose opens with a large and intense bouquet of berries, cherries and plums. On the palate it is elegant, full-bodied and fruity, with spicy tones that accompany a pleasantly persistent finish.
Perfect to accompany pasta and white meat dishes, it is ideal in combination with medium-aged cheeses.
