Description

Geremia is a red wine produced by Rocca di Montegrossi in Gaiole in Chianti, in the heart of Chianti Classico, obtained from a blend of Merlot and Cabernet Sauvignon; it represents the meeting point between Tuscan elegance and international structure, best expressing the character of its region of origin.

The vinification involves separate fermentations of the grapes in temperature-controlled stainless steel, with prolonged maceration on the skins to encourage a balanced extraction of color and tannins; the wine then matures in French oak, among barriques, tonneaux, and casks of different capacities, before completing its aging in bottle in the estate’s cellars.

In appearance, it shows an intense, deep ruby-red color; the bouquet is complex with aromas of ripe red and black fruits, spicy notes, balsamic hints, and delicate toasted nuances from the wood aging; on the palate, it is enveloping and structured, with silky tannins, good freshness, and a long, harmonious finish.

It pairs perfectly with grilled red meats, braised dishes, game, and aged cheeses, enhancing the tasting richness and aromatic complexity.
