Description

The Tuscany Rosso The Grevone of Castello di Uzzano was born in vineyards located on the hills of Greve in Chianti, in Tuscany.

It is produced with Sangiovese, Merlot and Cabernet grapes, fermented for up to 18-20 days at a controlled temperature of 20-22 ° C. The wine then ages in steel and cement tanks allowing the complete development of the secondary aromas, then it is placed in new, second and third passage French oak barrels, for 6 to 20 months. In this phase the tertiary aromas develop which constitute the passport for the longevity of this wine. After a few months aging in bottle, the wine is put on the market.

Grevone is a wine with a lively ruby red color, enriched with orange and garnet reflections. The nose opens with vinous hints, evident vegetal notes of pepper and tomato leaf, enriched by nuances of leather, vanilla and licorice. In the mouth it is warm and dry, with a good sapidity and tannins and is refined with time until a perfect harmony.

Meditation wine par excellence, it goes well with game, red meats and very tasty dishes.
