Description
The Rosso Rosso Preziosaterra of the Cantina Dal Cero was born in the Montecchiesi estate, located on the Tuscan hills south of Arezzo, on the border with Umbria.
It is produced with Sangiovese and Syrah grapes, rigorously harvested by hand during the third week of September. The grapes undergo a maceration period of 18 days, while fermentation starts from 20 ° C to 30 ° C at the time of racking. The wine is then refined first in second and third passage French oak barrels for a period of 5 months and then in bottle for 4 months.
Intense ruby red in color, it opens to the nose with hints of ripe fruit, among which plum and cherry stand out, enriched with delicate spicy notes. On the palate it is soft and round, with a good structure and a pleasant and tasty finish.
Rich wine with soft tannins, it goes well with roasts, grilled meats and game. Also perfect to accompany aged cheeses.
