Description
Terricci is a wine born in Impruneta, in the vineyards of the Lanciola farm, in Tuscany. It represents the flagship of the Florentine company.
This wine is produced with Sangiovese, Cabernet Sauvignon and Cabernet Franc grapes, harvested in the first ten days of October. The vinification of the must takes place in steel tanks and then, for the evolutionary phase, in solid oak barrels for eighteen months. Refinement takes place in the bottle for at least twelve months.
Terricci di Lanciola has an intense ruby red color. Its aroma is broad and fruity with hints of vanilla and cinnamon and a final hint of boisè. On the palate it is proposed as a wine with a good structure, soft and voluminous. The aftertaste is fruity revived by an acid persistence.
It goes very well with red meats, ideal with aged cheeses.
