Description
The Toscana Rosso Tarchun us of Tenuta Pometti was born on the Sienese hills, in vineyards located in land with excellent climatic exposure.
It is produced 80% with Cabernet Sauvignon grapes, 10% with Petit Verdot grapes and 10% with Sangiovese grapes, harvested towards the end of September. Cabernet and Petit Verdot grapes undergo a fermentation and maceration period of about 20 days, while Sangiovese for a shorter period, about 18 days. Before being bottled, the wine is aged in French oak barrels for 16-18 months.
It is a red wine with an intense color. The nose has rich hints, with notes of ripe red fruits and a spicy finish. In the mouth it is warm, soft, with a good structure. Overall it is a balanced and round wine.
For its body, this wine is perfect to accompany red meats, braised meats and game.
