Trebbiano d'Abruzzo Superiore DOC Podere Colle della Corte 2024 Orlandi Contucci Ponno

The Podere Colle della Corte is a Trebbiano d'Abruzzo Superiore from the Orlandi Contucci Ponno winery, born from a selection of Trebbiano Abruzzese and Passerina grapes grown on sandy-limestone soils in Roseto degli Abruzzi, facing south/southwest. The altitude and the terroir give the wine structure, finesse, and a pronounced minerality.

The harvest takes place at different times to respect the ripening of the varieties. After a long and gentle pressing, fermentation occurs partly in barrels and partly in steel, at low temperatures. The wine matures on fine lees before bottling.

It presents a straw yellow color with greenish highlights. On the nose, it expresses floral notes and green apple. On the palate, it is dry, fruity, and savory, with a minerality that reflects the origin of the soils, gifting balance and length.

It harmoniously accompanies vegetable starters, baked first courses, fish, and white meats.
