Description

The Gewürztraminer from the Ritratti line by Cantina La-Vis originates on the Avisian Hills, in the Pressano area, at about 330 meters above sea level. The vineyard, facing south and southwest, is set on a loamy-clay soil, fertile, drained, and deep, with excellent biological quality. The vines, aged between 15 and 25 years, benefit from ideal conditions to fully express the characteristics of the Gewürztraminer grape.

The winemaking involves a brief maceration on the skins followed by slow pressing, then fermentation and refinement occur in steel. Before bottling, the wine undergoes a brief passage in large barrels, a process that preserves its aromatic integrity and enriches its taste complexity.

It presents itself with an intense golden color. On the nose, it opens with floral notes of dog rose interwoven with exotic aromas and hints of candied fruit. On the palate, it stands out for its powerful and complex structure, accompanied by an extreme softness that makes it elegant and persistent.

It is an ideal wine to pair with spicy Asian cuisine or aged cheeses with a strong flavor.
