Description

Inca Malbec from Bodega Vallisto is an Argentinian red wine produced in the Salta area, one of the most fascinating high-altitude wine regions in the country. Made from Malbec grapes, it offers an intense and distinctive style, featuring ripe aromas of red and black fruit, a solid tannic structure, and a natural freshness, enhanced by the dry climate and significant temperature variations of the Andean valleys.

Vinification takes place in temperature-controlled tanks with selected yeasts, ensuring a precise fermentation that respects the varietal character. The wine matures for about a year, partly in delicately toasted French oak barrels and partly in cement tanks, combining complexity, roundness, and expressive purity without overpowering the fruit.

In the glass, it displays an intense red color with violet highlights. On the nose, it reveals aromas of ripe red and black fruits, with hints of plum, cherry, and blackberry, accompanied by spicy nuances and light woody notes; on the palate, it is full-bodied, balanced, and enveloping, with present but well-integrated tannins and a persistent finish.

Excellent with red meats, flavorful beef or pork dishes, cured meats, and medium-aged cheeses.
