Description

The Pinot Noir Gran Reserva by Dos Almas is a substantially fresh and elegant red wine from clayey soil mixed with sand from the Valle de Casablanca.

The harvest takes place at the end of March, at night, by hand, once the optimal ripening point of the grapes has been reached. After a 7-day cold maceration, the must ferments with the tank open in controlled temperature conditions. Part of the wine ages in French oak barrels for 10 months while the remaining part remains to refine in steel in order to fully preserve the fruity component.

Dark ruby red in color with purple hues, it opens onto a fruity bouquet in which hints of strawberry and raspberry now emerge, after spicy vanilla notes typical of aging. In the mouth it shows a good freshness and a delicate body, with soft tannins and a velvety consistency that results in a persistent finish.

Recommended in combination with fatty fish and first courses, it goes well with white meats.
