Description
This Valpolicella Classico Superiore originates from the vineyards of Villa Della Torre, winery of Marilisa Allegrini, located at 200 meters above sea level on loam-clay soil with the presence of limestone. It is produced with a typical blend of the denomination: Corvinone, Corvina, and Rondinella.
The vinification includes an initial aging phase of six months in cement, followed by twelve months in 60-hectoliter oak tonneaux. The wine is then further refined for twelve months in the bottle, ensuring complexity and aromatic maturity.
In appearance, it shows a deep ruby red. On the nose, notes of ripe cherry, spirit-infused red fruits, sweet spices, and hints of tobacco emerge. On the palate, it is balanced, with soft tannins, full body, and a warm and persistent finish.
Ideal pairing with roasts, braised meats, and aged cheeses.
