Description

The Valtellina Superiore Riserva di Dirupi comes from vineyards located at an altitude of 500 meters above sea level, with a great variability of historical clones which ensures a vast heterogeneity in terms of perfumes and aromas.

It is produced entirely from Nebbiolo grapes, carefully picked and selected by hand. After a soft pressing of the grapes, fermentation takes place with long maceration on the steel skins. The wine is then left to age for 24 months in oak barrels and for a further 12 months in bottle before being placed on the market.

Ruby red tending to garnet by the glass, Dirti's Valtellina Superiore Riserva releases a large and elegant bouquet on the nose, with notes of strawberries and cherries that blend harmoniously with hints of dried violet and spices. The taste is dry and warm, pleasantly balanced and persistent.

An all-meal wine, it is ideal to pair with mushroom-based first courses.
