Venezia Giulia IGT Malvasia 2015 Zidarich

The Venezia Giulia Malvasia di Zidarich was born in vineyards located in Prepotto, a small town nestled between vineyards and Karst typicality, in the heart of the Trieste Karst.

It is produced entirely with Malvasia grapes, harvested only by hand during the first ten days of October. Fermentation takes place in stainless steel tanks, with daily punching down and no temperature control. Subsequently the wine ages in oak barrels for 2 years, before being bottled.

This Malvasia is characterized by a golden yellow color. The nose opens with a fruity bouquet, enriched with pleasant spicy notes and delicate nuances of aromatic herbs. On the palate it is sapid and pleasantly tannic.

Perfect to accompany white meats and risotto, it is ideal in combination with fish dishes and fresh cheeses.
