Venezia Giulia IGT Bianco Oslavje 2010 Radikon
Description
The Venezia Giulia Bianco Oslavje di Radikon was born in a vineyard that extends for just over one hectare worked organically, in the province of Gorizia.
It is the result of the union of Chardonnay, Sauvignon Blanc and Pinot Grigio grapes, harvested manually in boxes in September. Fermentation takes place spontaneously in oak vats, with a 3-4 month maceration in contact with the skins. Following malolactic fermentation, the wine ages in oak barrels for about 42 months and finally in the bottle, before being placed on the market.
Radikon 's Oslavje is a yellow-orange wine with bright golden reflections. The nose offers an intense and complex bouquet, in which the notes of yellow peach and apricot alternate with elegant hints of dried fruit. In the mouth it is full and long, pleasantly sapid and elegant.
This wine is ideal in combination with omelettes and mushroom dishes.
