Verdicchio dei Castelli di Jesi Classico Superiore DOC Massaccio 2017 Fazi Battaglia
Description
The Verdicchio Superiore Massaccio di Fazi Battaglia owes its name to the town of Cupramontana, historically Massaccio, overlooked by the vineyards from which it is obtained, in the Classic area of the Castelli di Jesi.
Obtained entirely from Verdicchio grapes, carefully selected and harvested by hand, the wine carries out the processes of cryomaceration on the skins and fermentation in steel. It then rests for a few months on its noble lees and ends its maturation in cement tanks. This is followed by bottling and aging in glass for at least 8 months before being placed on the market.
It is characterized by a golden yellow color and an extremely fine and elegant perfume, with notes of exotic fruit, broom, aromatic herbs and, on the finish, almond. In the mouth it is soft and full-bodied, with the typical flavor of the grape variety and the territory and excellent persistence.
Perfect with fish and shellfish, excellent with sushi.
