Description
This Verdicchio rises in the Marche area of Matelica, precisely in the Monacesca district. The vineyard used covers an area of 2 hectares, with mainly clayey soils and north-south exposure.
The harvest takes place manually. The grapes, transported to the cellar, are softly pressed and sent to alcoholic fermentation inside steel containers. In the same, the wine also carries out malolactic fermentation and a stop on the fine lees.
At sight, delicate straw yellow. The scent is marked by white fruit such as peach and citrus tone, complemented by a bouquet of white flowers and fresh almonds. In the mouth the fresh and savory weave, balanced by the right softness, makes the sip fluent. It closes in a pleasantly almondy finish.
Excellent in combination with fish first courses and vegetable appetizers. Shown with an asparagus flan.
