Description
The Vermouth di Torino Bianco Bordiga is crafted in Cuneo, Piedmont, following the house’s ancient original recipe, using selected Piedmontese wines and high-quality natural infusions. The base consists mainly of Dry Moscato, Trebbiano and Cortese, enriched with botanicals such as wormwood, marjoram, linden blossom, mint, cardamom, bitter orange peel, Madagascar Bourbon vanilla, pepper, gentianella flowers, elderflower, sage and Cinchona calisaya.
Production follows an age-old, traditional method, using alpine botanicals still hand-picked today in the Cuneo Alps, Piedmontese wines and exotic spices. The process takes at least 40–50 days before bottling, followed by further rest in the Bordiga cellars for at least 15–20 days at a constant temperature of about 15 °C; filtration is carried out exclusively by natural means, through refrigeration and natural paper filters.
On the eye it shows an intense yellow color with amber highlights. The aroma is vinous, accompanied by floral and spicy notes, while on the palate it is intense and vinous, with an initial sweet character typical of Moscato that evolves into a persistent and pleasantly bitter finish.
Ideal served chilled as an aperitif, neat or on the rocks, or as an ingredient in the preparation of cocktails and long drinks.
