Product details

Cuvée Rot is a surprising red for its great drinkability and immediate pleasantness: an agile and fragrant wine, capable of expressing itself at its best even when served cold, a perfect emblem of the Blumenfeld style.
Description
The Cuvée Rot by Blumenfeld originates from the sunny slopes of the Bolzano basin and is adorned with the Vigneti delle Dolomiti IGT designation. It is an elegant blend composed of Merlot, Cabernet, Pinot Noir, and Schiava, a refined expression of the South Tyrolean territory. The combination of these grape varieties creates a harmonious product with a distinctive character and strong territorial identity.
The grapes, hand-harvested at the end of October, are carefully selected and transported in small containers to maintain their integrity. After a gentle destemming and crushing, fermentation takes place in steel, while a portion of the wine is aged in wooden barrels, enriching it with structure and complexity.
In appearance, it presents an intense ruby color. On the nose, it opens with a fruity bouquet of small red fruits like raspberry, blackberry, and cherry, enriched by floral hints of violet and a light spiciness, with pleasant notes of cocoa. On the palate, it offers a good structure, balanced by the softness of mature tannins.
Ideal with medium-aged cheeses, cured meats, and grilled meats.
