Description
Quinta de S. Sebastião Reserva Blanco is a white wine produced in Portugal, in the Lisbon region, sourced from vineyards located in Arruda dos Vinhos, predominantly characterized by hilly slopes exposed to the influence of the Atlantic Ocean. The Mediterranean climate, with a strong Atlantic imprint, favors balanced ripening and preserves freshness and aromatic finesse. The clay-limestone soils help impart structure and minerality to the wine. It is made from a blend of Arinto, Cercial, and Sauvignon Blanc, varieties that express elegance, freshness, and aromatic complexity.
Vinification takes place with fermentation at a controlled temperature of about 12°C, a process that preserves the aromatic components and the natural freshness of the grapes. Afterwards, part of the wine undergoes an aging period both in new barrels and previously used oak barrels, enriching its aromatic profile and developing greater complexity and structure.
In the glass, it shows a bright citrine yellow color. On the nose, it offers a complex bouquet with notes of apricot and citrus fruits accompanied by a pleasant mineral hint. On the palate, it is intense and harmonious, with a soft structure supported by lively acidity that brings freshness and persistence.
It pairs particularly well with fresh cheeses, flavorful fish, and white meats.
