Description

Don Hugo Tinto is a red wine produced by Bodegas Leganza in the historic Spanish region of La Mancha, from Tempranillo grapes cultivated at an altitude of 790 meters. This wine authentically expresses the peculiarities of the territory, thanks to careful vineyard management and a restrained yield that enhances the aromatic and structural concentration of the final product.

The winemaking process involves controlled fermentation in stainless steel tanks for a period of ten days. This method helps to preserve the freshness and integrity of the fruit, while ensuring a good varietal expression and a balanced structure, typical of high-quality young reds.

It appears clear and bright with a medium intensity tone and ruby reflections. The aromatic profile is intense and fruity, dominated by notes of ripe red fruits. On the palate, it is structured and harmonious, with well-integrated fine tannins and a pleasant finish that echoes the fruity sensations perceived on the nose.

It pairs ideally with meats, grilled or fried potatoes, mushrooms, ham, flavorful fish like tuna or cod, medium-aged cheeses, berry desserts, risottos, and first courses.
