Description

Don Hugo Rosé is a rosé wine from Bodegas Leganza, made from Tempranillo grapes grown at an altitude of 790 meters in the vineyards of the Spanish region of La Mancha. The terroir, combined with the low yield of the vines, allows for an optimal expression of the varietal characteristics, resulting in a fresh and aromatic rosé.

The winemaking process involves a cold maceration for 24 hours, followed by fermentation at a controlled temperature of 16°C, using only the free-run juice. This technique allows for the gentle extraction of aromas and color, maintaining the purity of the fruit and a balanced, pleasant structure.

The wine appears clear and bright with a light pink color. On the nose, it reveals a fruity aromatic profile characteristic of the grape variety, while on the palate it is fresh and enjoyable, with a medium-lasting finish that recalls the vegetal and red fruit notes perceived on the nose.

It is perfect paired with sausages, potatoes, fish, seafood, cheeses like goat cheese and Roquefort, pasta with basil, tomatoes, or fried vegetables.
