Description

Negre d’Àmfora by Can Rich is a red wine produced from Syrah and Monastrell grapes grown on the Buscastell estate. The calcareous terroir and Mediterranean climate give the wine a balance between power and freshness, with a pronounced local character.

Fermentation occurs spontaneously, followed by a 12-month maturation in terracotta amphorae, allowing for a natural evolution without the influence of wood and preserving the pure expression of fruit and local aromatic herbs.

The nose reveals complex notes of Mediterranean scrub, figs, black olives, and spices. The palate is savoury, lively, and harmonious, with an energetic and incisive finish of great character.

It pairs beautifully with roasts, stews, or spicy Mediterranean dishes.
