Description
The Astoria Extra Brut Millesimato Yu Sushi Sparkling Wine is born in vineyards located on the hilly land of the Val del Brun Estate, in the province of Treviso.
It is obtained from a skilful blend of white grapes typical of the Treviso area, handpicked and selected in September. After the classic vinification processes, the sparkling process takes place according to the Charmat Method, with 20-25 days re-fermentation in autoclave followed by another 15 days of permanence on the lees. Subsequently the wine ages in bottle for 4-6 weeks, before being bottled.
Yu Sushi from Astoria is characterized by a light straw yellow color and a minute and persistent perlage. The nose opens with strong fruity aromas of pear, citrus fruits and wisteria flowers. On the palate it is slightly acidic, pleasantly dry and harmonious.
Ideal to accompany sushi, sashimi and seafood crudités, this sparkling wine goes well with all fish dishes.
