Colombaio di Cencio
Colombaio di Cencio is located in the municipality of Gaiole, in one of the noblest areas of Tuscany, between Siena and Florence, the cradle of Chianti Classico.
17 hectares of vineyards entirely conducted according to sustainable agriculture practices. The soils are characterized by their formation, with a high level of compact limestone rock resting on a sandstone base. It produces Chianti Classico solely with Sangiovese grapes vinified in purity to enhance this variety in its greatest oenological expression.
Over the years, Colombaio di Cencio has become an icon of Chianti Classico with labels such as the Chianti Classico DOCG Riserva Massi del Colombaio (91 pt Wine Enthusiast) and the Chianti Classico DOCG Gran Selezione (92 pt Wine Enthusiast), and has further increased its fame worldwide thanks to the Toscana IGT Rosso Futuro (94 pt Wine Enthusiast), a super Tuscan wine with an international taste that, in a short period of time, established itself as the flagship of the company, repeatedly obtaining the coveted "Tre Bicchieri" from the Gambero Rosso guide.
