Valdo
The name Valdo immediately brings to mind the region of Valdobbiadene, the area where Prosecco Superiore is produced . In 1926 the winery was founded and became one of the most appreciated brands of sparkling wine in the Veneto region. In the 1930s, the company was purchased by the Bolla family, a historic family of winegrowers from Verona, who only adopted the name 'Valdo' in 1951.
Valdo's cuvées include the “Cuvée di Boj”, a five-month long Charmat method, and the “Cuvée Viviana”, whose Cartizze belongs to the Atelier Valdo Collection. Standing out among them all, however, are the “Elevantum” line, to which a remarkable rosé from Glera and Pinot Noir grapes belongs, and the iconic “Marca Oro” line; not only Valdo's best-known Prosecco, but also one of the most popular in Italy! Made solely from Glera grapes, the Extra Dry offers the mouth watering scent of wild apple and sweet touches of acacia flowers and honey on the nose and it is perfect throughout the meal.
