A semi-aromatic white grape variety, Vermentino has become widespread in Italy in recent years, thanks to its versatility in the maturation and winemaking phase. It is a multifaceted vine capable of offering very different results but sharing finesse and balance .

Liguria, Sardinia and Tuscany are the regions where its diffusion is widest, finding sunny and windy areas the ideal places to guarantee excellent wines. In Liguria the area of choice for the cultivation of Vermentino is that of the Colli di Luni, below La Spezia and on the border with Tuscany which has the ideal microclimate. A little further south, in Tuscany, we find the Candia Colli Apuani denomination, with a Vermentino that is always elegant, but less structured. Also in Sardinia, Vermentino is the most cultivated white grape, especially in the north-eastern tip of the island, where Vermentino di Gallura is produced. Here we find a fine, savory and persistent wine.

Versatile in pairings, it is ideal with appetizers and raw fish, and goes very well with fresh cheeses, delicate cured meats, but also risottos, mushrooms and white meats.
