Tenuta Tignanello, located in the Chianti Classico production area between the Greve and Pesa valleys, is the place chosen by the Antinori family for the experimentation and production of the highest quality wine. The estate consists of 319 hectares, of which 127 are vineyards. The land, in the hills, is composed of Galestro and Alberese rocks, the exposure of the vineyards, facing south-west, is ideal for the full maturation of the cultivated varieties: Cabernet Sauvignon and Sangiovese.

The wines produced here, Solaia and Tignanello , as well as representing the flagship products of the entire range, are universally recognized by the national and international ciritica as two of the most influential wines of the Italian wine scene and are punctually awarded the most important awards in the world some wine. As proof of this, it is enough to mention that Tignanello 2013 was recently included in the # 8 of the 2016 Top 100 of Wine Spectator.
