Ceretto
It was the 1930s when Riccardo Ceretto decided to start the homonymous farm, located in Alba. A traditional winery, which in a few years would have revolutionized the way of making wine in the Langa . This is thanks to Riccardo's sons, Bruno and Marcello, brothers who decide to focus everything on the concept of cru , still totally unknown in Italy. The "Barolo Brothers" , as they were defined in 1986 on the cover of the great American magazine Wine Spectator , traced a new production path, which made rigor, dedication and passion, the cornerstones around which it was possible to produce authentic wines.
After a few decades, everything remained of those times, first of all the desire to tell the territory through sincere labels , which, starting from the 2015 vintage, can boast organic certification. A sumptuous range, to say the least, that from the great reds such as Barbaresco "Asili" and Barolo "Bricco Rocche" , reaches up to the legendary Arneis "Blangè" , passing through several reds suitable for daily sip. Ceretto is confirmed as a top-level winery, as evidenced by the various awards that are assigned to it each year by the main Italian and foreign reference guides.
