Tenuta Cucco was born in the sixties at the foot of the ancient castle of Serralunga d'Alba, offering a breathtaking view of the Langhe of Alba; here the view is lost among the vineyard hills and the glimpse of the Serralunga d'Alba Castle, which stands out majestically and severely, a landscape site of great beauty. The name of the winery evokes "the height", "the cucco" in the local dialect , the highest peak of the hill where the oldest vineyard, Vigna Cucco, is located within the Cerrati Cru. The range consists of a Barolo that comes from the Bricco Voghera vineyard: intense ruby red with a garnet edge, it releases aromas of dried rose, plum, licorice and spices on the nose. The range is completed by a Barbera d'Alba Superiore with excellent structure and a pleasantly long finish and Nebbiolo , a fruity, fresh wine, particularly suitable for welcoming autumn. Wines made to art.
