Primarily cultivated in the province of Avellino, but also found in Puglia and in Sicily, Fiano is one of the most interesting grape varieties, full of character and personality. According to some theories, it may originate from the esteemed Apian grapes, which were already known and appreciated in ancient Roman times for their richness and sweetness. However, it is actually a very generic term, hardly traceable to a single variety.

A grape among the richest in aromatic components, Fiano gives rise to wines with an intense and complex bouquet, with a fresh and elegant profile. In addition to floral and fruity notes, it conveys a range that includes aromas of white fruit, ripe yellow fruit, exotic fruit, hazelnuts, roasted almonds, and spicy nuances. It is a wine capable of expressing its best potential after long periods of aging, which enhance the development of tertiary notes of great charm.
