Description

The Abruzzo Pecorino Amaranta of Tenuta Ulisse was born in vineyards located in the Theatine municipalities of Crecchio and Olona, in Abruzzo.

It is produced entirely with Pecorino grapes, harvested manually in the first ten days of September. After a soft pressing and a static settling of the must at low temperatures, the fermentation takes place mainly in barriques and the remaining part in stainless steel tanks.

Abruzzo Pecorino Amaranta by Tenuta Ulisse is characterized by a rather intense straw yellow color, with greenish reflections. The nose opens with intense aromas of exotic fruit, honey and acacia, surrounded by a veil of spicy hints including vanilla. In the mouth it is shown with good acidity and minerality, with a pleasantly persistent finish.

Perfect to accompany pasta dishes with white meats and baked fish, it is ideal in combination with aged cheeses accompanied by jams or citrus honey.
