Description

Espor3o Reserva Blanco is a white wine produced exclusively from organic grapes grown in the vineyards of Herdade do Espore3o, in Portugal. The soil, based on granite and schist on a clay and sandy structure, hosts vines aged between 18 and 28 years. The blend is composed of Ante3o Vaz, Arinto, and Roupeiro, traditional varieties that fully express the character of the Alentejo region.

After harvesting, the grapes undergo destemming, cold clarification, skin maceration, pressing, and decantation. Fermentation takes place at controlled temperatures, 75% in stainless steel and 25% in new American and French oak barrels. The wine is aged for six months on fine lees in the same fermentation containers, contributing to its complexity and structure.

In appearance, it is crystalline, with golden reflections. The bouquet is intense and spicy, with hints of white-fleshed fruit, citrus, and orange blossoms. On the palate, it reveals itself to be full, unctuous, and persistent, with a long and vibrant finish, well balanced by refreshing acidity.

It pairs perfectly with flavorful fish dishes, grilled white meats, or soft cheeses.
