Description

The Cuvée Frédéric Emile comes to life from the Grand Cru vineyards of Geisberg and Osterberg. Despite the choice not to declare the origin from a Grand Cru vineyard, this label has become over time a point of reference for all Riesling Grand Cru of the Alsatian territory.

Riesling in purity result of a careful harvest of the grapes at the end of October. After a soft pressing of the bunches, the must ferments in stainless steel at controlled temperature for 3-4 weeks. It rises for several years in the cellar to fully develop its olfactory and complexity properties.

Bright golden yellow in color, it reveals sweet apricot and pineapple notes on the nose. In the mouth it is structured and intense, with a pleasant mineral trace. An extraordinarily balanced wine between fruit and freshness, it is characterized by an infinite persistence.

It is a wine that can easily reach and even exceed 10 years of aging in its cellar. It is the perfect companion for gourmet food, fish, caviar and white meats.
