Description
The Alta Langa Brut Cuvée 60 Mesi Riserva by Gancia is a prestigious Metodo Classico sparkling wine, resulting from a long and complex process, starting from Pinot Nero and Chardonnay grapes grown in the Alta Langa territories. Only 50% of the must obtained from gentle pressing is included in the composition of the cuvée, a testament to Gancia's pursuit of excellence.
The base wine ferments both in barriques and steel and rests on its lees for over six months before the creation of the cuvée. The bottle fermentation, according to the Traditional Method, lasts about 40 days and is followed by aging for at least 60 months in a controlled temperature environment to develop depth and complexity.
It presents a golden yellow color with creamy and persistent foam. The aromatic bouquet is complex, with notes of cocoa, yeast, and toasted hazelnut. The taste is structured, balanced, and backed by lively acidity that enhances its freshness and length in the mouth.
Ideal for pairing with foie gras, dishes based on truffle, or flavorful baked fish.
