Description

The Alta Langa Pas Dosé Cuvée 36 Mesi by Gancia is a Metodo Classico sparkling wine made from a selection of Pinot Noir and Chardonnay grapes grown in the Alta Langa hills, a hilly area of Piedmont known for the high quality of its grapes. Production takes place in the historic Gancia Cellars, a UNESCO heritage site that combines tradition and technology.

The grapes are gently pressed using the Marmonnier method, and only the free-run juice is vinified. Fermentation occurs in barriques and stainless steel, followed by the preparation of the cuvée and bottle fermentation. Aging on the lees lasts at least 36 months, ensuring complexity and refinement in the final product.

It appears bright straw yellow in color with an intense and persistent perlage. The aroma is fine, with light fruity notes, fresh yeast, and bread crust, while the palate is dry, fresh, balanced, and with marked acidity.

It is an ideal accompaniment for raw seafood, oysters, or grilled oily fish dishes.
