Kalterersee - Lago di Caldaro DOC Leuchtenburg 2015 Erste Neue

Leuchtenburg was born in the vineyards of Erste + Neue, a very interesting and excellent reality in the South Tyrolean wine scene.

This wine, made exclusively from Schiava grapes, first ferments traditionally in steel, to then complete the fermentation and mature in oak barrels of 80-100 hl.

Leuchtenburg shows an intense ruby color. The nose opens with an elegant fruity bouquet, with notes of cherries that predominate over the other red fruits. In the mouth it is soft and enveloping, balanced in all its components and extraordinarily satisfying.

This Gambero Rosso Three Glasses is perfect to drink on the spot. Excellent for summer barbecues, it accompanies meat and fish, but also elaborate appetizers and typical Trentino cold cuts. Serve slightly chilled.
