Südtirol - Alto Adige DOC Premstaler Sauvignon 2015 Cantina Caldaro

The Sauvignon Premstaler was born in the vineyards of Caldaro di Kellerei-Kaltern, immersed in the splendid and prestigious hilly frame of South Tyrol.

Obtained exclusively from Sauvignon grapes, harvested in the first week of September, the must of this wine is left to ferment very slowly at a stable temperature of 16 ° C. This process is followed by the maturation phase, carried out on the fine lees for 5 months. The wine is finally filtered and then bottled.

The Sauvignon Premstaler it is characterized by a straw yellow color, with greenish reflections. The nose offers a complex and impactful perfume, with delicate sensations of elderberry flowers that blend perfectly with fruity aromas of cassis and exotic fruit. In the mouth it shows an interesting sapid vein and a good structure, with captivating notes of black currant that accompany towards a persistent finish.

Excellent with vegetable soups and appetizers, it also goes well with fish dishes.
