Description
The Amarone della Valpolicella from Tenuta di Naiano was born in the vineyards located in the hilly area of Valpolicella, in the province of Verona.
It is produced 70% with Corvina Veronese grapes and 30% with Rondinella grapes, harvested only by hand in the second half of September. The grapes undergo a gentle pressing and ferment in stainless steel tanks at a controlled temperature between 8 ° and 22 ° C for about 24 days with periodic daily pumping over. Subsequently the wine ages in barriques for 15 months and for a further 6 months in bottle.
This Amarone della Valpolicella is characterized by an intense ruby red color. The nose opens with evident hints of red fruits, enriched with pleasant spicy notes of pepper and cloves, and with delicate mineral and tobacco hints. On the palate it is a wine with an imposing body but of great elegance and balance.
Perfect to accompany red and braised meats, it is ideal in combination with roasts, game and aged cheeses.
